Terms of Use
Last updated October 20, 2026
These terms apply to your use of the Ora app and this website, both provided by U3 Studio. By using Ora, you agree to them.
Using Ora
Ora is offered freely for personal, non-commercial use as an aid to prayer. Please do not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, access it by automated means, or use it to generate content that is unlawful or harmful.
About the guidance
Responses from the Companion are written by an AI language model. They are offered as encouragement for prayer and reflection. They are not the teaching of the Church, and they can be mistaken. They are not a substitute for a priest, spiritual director, or the sacraments, nor for medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis line right away, and reach out to someone you trust.
Your words
What you write in the app belongs to you. You give us permission to process it only so we can provide the guidance you asked for, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Prayers and content
The traditional prayers in Ora belong to the Church's shared heritage. The app's design, text, and software are the property of U3 Studio and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.
Gifts
Gifts made through Ko-fi are voluntary, do not unlock any features, and are generally not refundable. They are processed by Ko-fi under its own terms.
Availability
We may change, pause, or end any part of Ora at any time. The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, U3 Studio is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use Ora after a change means you accept the updated terms.
